Edward
Jurkevics founded Chesapeake Analytics Corp. in 1998. At Chesapeake, he is
actively involved in managing client accounts, specializing in management
consulting, strategic analysis, market development, and advising on mergers and
acquisitions and venture finance. Mr.
Jurkevics is an industry leader in geographically-related (geospatial)
technology-sector strategic consulting.

In his
private practice, Mr. Jurkevics works with Fortune-500 firms to develop their
geographic-related business development strategies, and with small and medium
sized enterprises on strategic analysis, management consulting, financing, and
market development assignments. Mr. Jurkevics serves as a deal-maker in the geospatial
industry, where he has provided confidential advisory services for both buyers
and sellers of geospatial companies and business units. Since 2000, he has been
involved in five merger and acquisition transactions He takes pride in transactions that are structured to be successful
in the long run.

In his role
as the industry's foremost analyst, Mr. Jurkevics provides guidance to investors
on valuation of firms and their financial instruments. He is widely quoted in
newspapers and the trade press. In addition to involvement in numerous private equity
placements, he has participated in IPO road shows on behalf of clients,
resulting in successful initial public stock offerings.

His confidential advisory practice
supports business and government leaders in the field. He serves as an advisor to government agencies in the US and abroad, and has
briefed the Executive Office of the President and the National Security Council
on commercial remote sensing policy. His strong technical background in the field combined with a

Mr.
Jurkevics has executive-level geospatial industry experience in business
development, marketing and sales management. His areas of expertise are in
soft products such as data, software, value-added services, location-based
services, and Ecommerce. His marketing focus has been on
business-to-business marketing, with emphasis on Fortune 500 and government
clients. Mr. Jurkevics advises clients on industry and geographic
market penetration, and he has years of experience in domestic and international
channel development. Mr. Jurkevics has conducted complex negotiations of
intellectual property licensing, distribution agreements, OEM repackaging, and
joint venture agreements. He maintains client relationships with senior
executives in emerging technology firms in the market development phase.

Previous
to founding Chesapeake Analytics, Mr. Jurkevics was Executive Vice
President of Sales and Product Marketing with PCI
Geomatics Group. He directed this Canadian software firm's
worldwide field/marketing operations. Mr. Jurkevics had a hands-on
management role in developing marketing strategies and growing PCI's sales
organization. He conceptualized new products, and led the company's
successes in new business development, strategic planning, and joint
ventures. His career at PCI began in software engineering in 1985.

Mr.
Jurkevics received an MBA in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute
(Virginia Tech), concentrating in corporate finance. His undergraduate
studies were at the University of Toronto, where he received a B.Sc. in Physics,
specializing in Geophysics.

Mr.
Jurkevics is past Chairman of the Virginia Tech MBA Alumni Advisory Board at the
Pamplin College of Business.
